June 5 , 2000 . Fundraising note - BINGO is held every Wednesday morning at The Hervey Bay Soccer Club. Eyes down at 10.30 am . Lucky Door prize and Raffle. Proceeds to the Hervey Bay Soccer Federation which in turn support our club in many ways. All Welcome. - Submitted by Hervey Bay Soccer Club
May 30, 2000 Brisbane Strikers Malcolm McLaren and Jeromy Harris
will be conducting a two day coaching clinic for all interested players. This
will be held 3 & 4 of July at the Hervey Bay grounds. Cost will be $70 per
player. This will be an excellent start to the holidays where you will get

May 22 , 2000 All draws have been put up over the last 2 weeks . Representative
sides have now been selected and we have a number of players that have been
selected . The honour roll has been
updated , so if you don't see your name there contact me to rectify the list.

May 1, 2000 Post Easter draws uploaded for Under 9 & 10's
18 April 2000 The soccer season will be in full swing after the Easter
break for the non competitive grades and coaches should check the folder at
the club for their full draws, newsletter and other important information.
We have a Movie Night coming up soon on Wed 7-6-2000 . The movie will
be "Mission Impossible II" and anyone wanting tickets or more information
shpuld contact Janelle Redicliffe on 41244353. Tickets include drinks, nibblies
and coffee afterwards as well as the entry to the movie. Get a group of friends
together and have a fun night.

21 March 2000 Draws Uploaded for the new season.
16 March 2000 Teams have been formed and the fixtures will be starting on
the 25th March. Coaches or managers should have contacted players for training
times etc.There is a "get to know you" function at the clubhouse on
Sunday 19th at 4pm , including a sausage sizzle and fun afternoon for the kids.

at the Hervey Bay United Soccer Club
6 November 1999 Coaches with equipment are required to return
shirts and equipment ASAP please. This is required for preperation of the 2000
season. Thank you.

4 September 1999 Finals day for the competative teams . Under 11 and Under15 teams go through to the Grand finals on the 11th. Under13's go down in a penalty shootout. Junior girls win their semi final and go down 1-0 in the preliminary final.
29 August 1999 Sportsfront Cup held for Non competative (Under 6 through to Under10) leagues. Sandy Straits represented in all finals bar one, winning in the u6,u8 and u10 and being runners up in u9 and u8 (two teams in the u8 final). Well done to all of our junior non competative teams. 15 May 1999 Notice to all Juniors. The Hervey Bay City Soccer Federation is running a Coaching Clinic in the June/July Holidays. Cost is $60.00 which includes 15 hours of coaching, a T-shirt and a written assessment for each participant. The clinic has comprehensive programs to accomodate all age groups. For more information contact your coaches.
A General Club meeting is being held on Sunday 30th May at 4pm. A free sausage sizzle is being supplied for all that attend. Your input at this meeting will be much appreciated and benefits the teams.
